Prize Draw Terms

Official rules for Vanly prize draws in the United Kingdom

These Prize Draw Terms (“Rules”) apply to every prize draw or giveaway run by VANLY TRADE MANAGEMENT LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 17024675), registered office 52a Valley Road, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL6 1HY (“Vanly”, “we”, “us”). They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

By being entered, or by accepting a prize, you agree to these Rules. If you do not agree, you must not take part and you must tell us so we can void your entry.

1. Promoter

The promoter is VANLY TRADE MANAGEMENT LTD. Prize draws are promotional prize draws for Vanly customers in the United Kingdom. They are not a licensed lottery. No extra payment is charged for a chance to win. Any Vanly subscription fee is payment for the Vanly software, not a stake on the draw.

2. Each promotion

Each draw has its own title, prize, opening date, closing date, and draw date. Those details are shown in the Vanly app and on the entry confirmation email. If these Rules and a specific promotion’s details conflict, the specific details apply to dates and prize only. These Rules still govern eligibility.

3. Eligibility

To be eligible to enter and to win you must, at the time of entry and at the time of the draw:

You are not eligible if your access is a free trial, complimentary grant, staff or HQ admin account, paused, revoked, or unpaid. Vanly employees, officers, contractors, and members of their households may not enter or win.

One entry per person and per Vanly account. Buying a more expensive plan, paying yearly instead of monthly, or renewing does not create extra entries or extra chances.

Paying subscriber rule — including bugs and mistakes

If a software bug, system error, duplicate write, refund, chargeback, complimentary grant, trial, staff account, or any other malfunction creates an entry or sends an entry email for an account that is not a genuine paying Vanly subscriber, that entry is void. An entry number or confirmation email is not proof that you are eligible. Vanly may void, correct, or ignore any such entry at any time, including after the draw. Only a genuine paying Solo or Gold subscriber may win.

4. How to enter

Entry is automatic when Vanly’s systems record a qualifying paid subscription during the published entry window. You do not need to fill in a form. We send a confirmation email to the address you signed up with, including the promotion name and your unique entry number.

There is no extra fee to enter. Do not send money, goods, or extra subscription payments in an attempt to enter or to improve your chances — that will not create a valid extra entry.

5. Opening, closing and the draw

The entry window and draw date are shown in the app and on your confirmation email. Times are treated as UK calendar days. Late entries are not accepted. We may extend, pause, or cancel a promotion if we have a fair reason (for example a technical fault or an event outside our control). If we cancel before a winner is chosen, no prize is due.

The winner is chosen at random from valid, eligible entries using a computer process. The draw is final, subject to eligibility checks in these Rules.

6. Prize

The prize is the item or benefit named for that promotion. It is not transferable and there is no cash alternative, unless we have to substitute a prize of equal or greater value because the original prize is unavailable. The prize is as described; colour, brand, specification, and delivery details may vary. Any tax or other cost of using the prize is the winner’s responsibility unless we say otherwise.

7. Winner notification and claim

We will contact the winner using the email address on the Vanly account, usually within 14 days of the draw. The winner must reply and complete any reasonable identity and eligibility checks within 14 days. If they do not, or they fail those checks, we may draw another valid entry.

We may require proof of a genuine paid subscription (for example a Stripe, App Store, or Google Play receipt) and proof of age and UK residence before we award the prize.

8. Void, refunded and ineligible entries

We will void an entry, and it cannot win, if:

Cancelling a subscription at the end of a paid period does not by itself void an entry that was valid when it was created, provided the account was still a genuine paying subscriber at the time of the draw. If paid access has already ended by the draw, the entry is not eligible to win.

9. Publicity

We may publish the winner’s first name, town or county, and entry number. If you object, email support@getvanly.co.uk. We may still need to provide winner details to the Advertising Standards Authority or another regulator if asked.

10. Data protection

We use your account name, email, business name, and entry details to run the draw, email your entry number, check eligibility, and award the prize. See our Privacy Policy.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Rules limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under English law. Subject to that, Vanly is not liable for entries lost or created in error, failed emails, or any loss arising from taking part, except where we cannot exclude that liability. Our total liability for a promotion shall not exceed the greater of £100 or the value of the advertised prize.

12. Changes and our decision

We may update these Rules. The version on this page at the time of the draw applies. Our decision on eligibility, void entries, and the winner is final, provided we apply these Rules fairly. These Rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
